Jo Meintjes – Appreciation

Jo Meintjes

Jo is the translator of Merlyn’s memoirs. I never met Merlyn but I have met Jo – on a few visits to South Africa.
Jo prefers to keep a low profile although is very active in her various communities. It’s difficult to write an appreciation for such a person but I can say that her enthusiasm, energy and thoughtfullness are greatly appreciated and valued.
They say dogs reflect their owners, well, knowing Jo, I can just imagine how Merlyn was. Merlyn was a Springer Spaniel – one who thought he was human. But I’ll leave you to read about it in Merlyn’s memoir.
While writing this appreciation, a review on Merlyn came in – I recommend taking a peak at that if you still need convincing about Merlyn’s memoirs.
